Loveholidays has expanded into Scandinavia under the weloveholidays brand.
The OTA is offering more than 50,000 hotels and flights from 50 airlines in Denmark, Norway and Sweden following comprehensive in-market platform testing.
The company now operates in eight countries, after expanding into Ireland in 2016, Germany in 2023, Austria in 2024 and the Netherlands last year.
Loveholidays’ global expansion strategy is spearheaded by Charlotte Gogstad, vice president of international expansion, who previously held leadership positions at Hotels.com and Expedia in the Nordics.
The company is entering the Scandinavian markets with a range of flexible payment options including low deposits and the option to pay through PayPal and Klarna.
Chief executive Donat Rétif said: “Our expansion into Denmark, Norway and Sweden is a significant step towards achieving our ambition of becoming the global leader in packaged holidays.
“These are highly digital markets with strong demand for package travel, and represent the next phase of our European growth strategy.”
He added: “Our asset-light model, powered by our proprietary technology, enables us to enter new markets quickly and efficiently, without inventory risk, while responding in real time to shifts in customer behaviour.
“We continue to see resilient demand for travel, as consumers prioritise holidays and seek greater value and flexibility. We’re excited to bring our proposition to Danish, Norwegian and Swedish customers, offering greater choice, value and ease when booking their holidays."
