MSC Cruises has revealed new features of its next World Class ship one year ahead of its delivery.
MSC World Asia, the third ship in the series, will feature a 12-metre-long stainless steel dragon suspended above the World Promenade, decorated with nearly 700 mirrors and 3,000 LED lights.
The ship will also have the longest dry slide at sea measuring 81.3 metres called The Spiral @ Tree of Life, as well as a new speciality restaurant called Pan-Asian Street Food serving southeast Asian cuisine with dishes from Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Family-friendly venues The Harbour and The Clubhouse will be redesigned to offer an Asian-inspired look alongside returning favourites like the Cliffhanger over-water swing ride.
In addition, MSC World Asia will have seven different categories in its luxury ship-within-a-ship concept, the MSC Yacht Club, with a new Royal Duplex Suite with two bedrooms and space for six guests, multi-room Owner Suites and Royal Suites with a whirlpool bath.
The newest vessel in the fleet will debut on December 4, 2026 and sail a series of seven-night Mediterranean itineraries in its inaugural season.
Prices start from £693, down from £729 in the line’s Black Friday Sale which runs until December 7, for a seven-night sailing in January 2027.
Vice-president of international sales Antonio Paradiso said: “As we mark the 12-month countdown to MSC World Asia, we’re thrilled to offer our UK and Irish guests a truly unique new way to experience the Mediterranean.
“This remarkable new ship brings together striking Asia-inspired design, exceptional dining and entertainment, and an outstanding choice of accommodation.
“MSC World Asia will further strengthen our commitment to delivering memorable holidays at sea and broaden the range of experiences available to our guests across the UK and Ireland.”
