Murray Travel has announced the return of its exclusive day trip to Finnish Lapland direct from Inverness Airport following the success of last year’s two sold-out charters.
Departing on December 19, the agency said the experience will “give local families the chance to enjoy one of Europe’s most iconic Christmas experiences with the ease and convenience of flying direct from their local airport”.
The trip will include winter activities, reindeer rides, husky experiences and the chance to meet Santa Claus himself in his grotto.
Scott Murray, Murray Travel chief executive, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be bringing our Lapland day trip back once again from Inverness Airport.
“The response to last year’s trips was incredible, and it was genuinely special to see so many families from across the Highlands making such magical memories together.
“Lapland is a bucket-list experience for so many people, and being able to offer that directly from Inverness makes it even more special. It means families can enjoy all the wonder and excitement of a trip to Santa’s homeland, with the added ease and convenience of travelling from their local airport.”
Dan Mason, Inverness Airport manager, said: “We’re delighted to welcome back Murray Travel’s Lapland charter to Inverness Airport for December 2026.
“I know how important creating these memories can be, and we’re proud to support this returning service from Inverness.”
