The number of candidates being placed in new travel jobs has risen by more than a third from last year, according to the latest figures from C&M Travel Recruitment.
November’s total was up by 36% from the same month in 2024, which is the biggest year-on-year monthly increase since December 2022, though it did ease by 3% from October 2025.
However, there was a fall in the number of new candidates searching for jobs last month with a 16% drop from October. November’s total also slipped by 11% from the same month in 2024.
After rising for the two previous months, the number of new travel job vacancies also dipped in November with a 39% fall from October and a 41% decline from last November.
Barbara Kolosinska, co-owner and managing director at C&M Travel Recruitment, said: "The big annual rise in job placements is extremely welcome news, but after two very encouraging months in a row, travel recruitment activity dipped back in November.
"With December traditionally being the slowest month of the year for the jobs market, we’re unlikely to see an immediate rebound.
“However, many candidates are still searching for new roles in the lead-up to Christmas, so this is a fantastic time for companies to hire top talent before competition truly heats up in the New Year."
