Active holiday specialist Neilson Beach Clubs is opening two new five-star resorts this summer: one in Sicily and the other in Mauritius, its first long-haul option.
Launching as part of the new Neilson Inside Collection, the resorts are designed for guests seeking a “more refined” Neilson experience.
David Taylor, Neilson chief executive, said: “We’ve been looking to add a long-haul destination for some time now, and to add new destinations in Europe to complement our existing clubs in Greece, Sardinia and Croatia, so that our customers have more choice.
“Sicily and Mauritius will be great new destinations for our customers where we combine a beautiful setting and outstanding five-star hospitality with our award-winning activity programme.”
The Sicily club at Mangia’s Torre del Barone Resort (pictured below) will open in May, with four restaurants and a thermal spa.
Activities include paddleboarding, cycling, efoiling and sea scooter snorkelling. It is also the only Neilson resort offering tennis, padel and pickleball, at the racquet sports centre.
The all-suite Ravenala Attitude, Mauritius, opens in June, with eight restaurants and kids’ clubs catering for children from four months to 13 years. There are also six bars and a spa.
