Premier Holidays is offering agents the chance to apply for its new range of ‘famolidays’ – mini fam trips to some of its most popular destinations.
The tour operator is working with three tourist boards – Visit Jersey, Visit Guernsey and Visit Isle of Man – to help the trade learn more about the destinations to boost sales.
Twenty agents, along with a travelling companion of their choice, have already been selected for a famoliday to the Isle of Man.
The three-night stay at the three-star Ramsey Park Hotel costs £129 per person, which includes flights and unlimited travel on the island’s bus, train and tram services with a three-day Go Explore card, and unlimited access to Manx National Heritage sites.
Eighty spots are also available for agents and partners to visit Guernsey and Jersey.
Agents selected for the Guernsey famoliday will have a three-night B&B stay at the four-star St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort from £169, including flights.
The Jersey famoliday offers a choice of two four-star hotels for three nights – the Hotel de France or The Club Hotel & Spa – starting at £185, with flights included.
Debbie Goffin, sales and marketing director for Premier Holidays, said: “Over the past two years, we’ve trialled these mini familiarisation trips on a smaller scale and, based on the incredibly positive feedback from agents and the boost they’ve seen in post-trip customer engagement, we decided to go full steam ahead this year.
“Instead of offering traditional fam trips to the Channel Islands and UK, we’ve created famolidays that are more focused, immersive and enjoyable.
“Our agents come away feeling inspired and confident in selling these destinations because they’ve experienced them firsthand, with a companion of their choice.
“This approach is really resonating with our partners, and we’re thrilled to be investing even more into these bespoke trips.”
Agents can click here to apply for the Jersey famoliday in October. Closing date is July 7.
