Sunvil has added two Ionian island-hopping itineraries, Albania and several properties to its new Greece brochure.
The family-run independent tour operator features more than 60 islands and the mainland of Greece – and added an Albanian fly-drive itinerary “in response to the current buzz” about the country.
Furthermore, Albania is easily combined with Greece and also offers culture, history and dramatic scenery, said Sunvil.
The 10-night Highlights of Albania costs from £1,465 including return flights to Tirana, B&B accommodation and seven days’ car hire.
The new Ionian Island-Hopping itineraries include a one-week Corfu-Paxos-Lefkas itinerary, from £1,716, and a two-week itinerary which adds Ithaca and Kefalonia, from £2,408.
New properties in Greece include Akrotiri Beach Hotel in Corfu; Galazio Suites in Serifos; and Anni Seafront Studios, Lemnos – while a separate ‘Villas’ section is also a new feature.
Sunvil said the brochure caters to growing demand for longer, slower, multi-island trips, with suggested itineraries available across all the island groups: the Ionian, the Sporades, the Cyclades and the Saronic isles, North Aegean, the Dodecanese and Crete.
One island-hopping itinerary in the North Aegean includes Chios and Lesvos, which were recently featured in the BBC’s Race Across the World, while the Classic Highlights itinerary includes the Peloponnese region, which is the setting for Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated film The Odyssey, due for release in July.

• Meanwhile, Sunvil has updated its Peace of Mind Promise “to address concerns regarding current global uncertainties around travel” and to ensure that its clients can “book with confidence, knowing they are in safe hands”.
The new ‘Fuel and Pricing Reassurance’ section says: “We are aware of recent media coverage regarding fuel costs and potential supply issues, and understand that this may feel concerning.
“Please be assured that we are monitoring the situation closely and remain in regular contact with our airline partners and relevant authorities. Much of the current reporting reflects wider geopolitical pressures rather than immediate disruption to travel operations.”
It adds: “In practical terms: We have not historically passed fuel surcharges on to customers, and do not anticipate changing this approach.
“From a regulatory perspective, we are required to absorb the first 2% of any cost increase, and customers are entitled to a full refund should any increase exceed 8%.
“No price increases can be applied within 20 days of departure.
“If there were to be any material impact on travel, we would contact customers directly and make alternative arrangements where possible. In the unlikely event that a holiday cannot proceed, a full refund would be provided.
“As demonstrated during previous periods of disruption, including the Icelandic ash cloud and Covid-19, our priority is always to look after our customers and support them throughout.
“Please note that any supplier charges (primarily airlines) for amendments will be passed on at cost and confirmed at the time of request. Prices for deferred travel may vary depending on availability at the time of rebooking.”
