Jet2holidays to give away three £5k marketing campaigns in trade push

Jet2holidays is offering travel agents the chance to win a marketing campaign worth £5,000 in its latest trade campaign.

The operator will give away three joint campaigns based on agents’ use of Jet2 marketing materials in shop windows and on social media until January 30.

The three agencies deemed to been the most creative in their own marketing activity will be offered a dedicated staff training programme in addition to bespoke ‘Travel Made Simple’ marketing materials for use online, on emails, on social media and in-store.

The three winning agencies will also secure a place on a fam trip with Jet2’s luxury brand Indulgent Escapes, with five runners up also receiving a place.

Winners will be announced each Monday from January 17 to January 31, and the operator will also host a virtual training session for independent agents on January 13.

Alan Cross, head of trade, said: “Given the positive news last week on the easing of travel restrictions and with many holidaymakers missing out on holidays over the last few years, 2022 is the year of the holiday upgrade.

“We are seeing strong demand from customers looking to getaway and indulge, so the opportunity for independent travel agents to grow their luxury business and boost sales is huge.”
He added: “We are always thinking about the best ways to help agents and once again this competition is another example of our unique and successful Partners2Success strategy in action.

“We have seen a large increase in sales for luxury holidays, and we want to do everything we can to help agents sell more luxury package holidays to drive business growth.”
