Norwegian Cruise Line will deploy three ships in Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand for the first time between September 2024 and March 2026.
The line will base Norwegian Sky (pictured), Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Spirit in the region, where they will sail from 15 departure ports, including Auckland, Manila, Bangkok, Pepeete, Seoul and Tokyo.
It will mark the first time the line will offer summer cruises in Asia, the region which NCL predicted would be the “primary driver of travel growth” this year, with sales up 20% compared to 2023, it said.

The line will operate new itineraries ranging from nine to 19 days over the 18 month period, visiting more than 60 destinations, including first-time calls to Albany, Busselton, Fremantle, Port Douglas and Townsville, Australia; Matsuyama and Niigata, Japan; Aitutaki, Cook Islands; and Suva, Fiji.
The collection features 36 overnight stays in Asia Pacific, including Osaka, Himeji and Tokushima, Japan; Hong Kong; Bangkok; Bali and Lombok, Indonesia; and Melbourne.
A 17-day Asia: Maldives, Thailand & Seychelles cruise on Norwegian Sky will call at destinations in Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Singapore. Prices start at £3,267 based on a December 20 departure.
A 14-day Asia: Hong Kong & Thailand sailing on Norwegian Sun will call at destinations in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, China and Taiwan. Prices lead in at £1,670 based on a February 10, 2026, departure.
