New TTC Tour Brands excursions showcase North American food and scenery

TTC Tour Brands – the parent of Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Costsaver and Luxury Gold – has expanded its range of Make Travel Matter Experiences across the US and Canada.

The new excursions focus on culinary and active adventures and mean that there is at least one Make Travel Matter Experience on all North American itineraries.

The company has also unveiled a new itinerary from Insight Vacations for 2024: Yellowstone Discovery. It explores Montana’s Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks over the course of seven days and includes a Make Travel Matter Experience with local artist John Potter.

Kelly Jackson, TTC Tour Brands’ EMEA managing director, said: “Our Make Travel Matter Experiences dive deeper into a destination and its community through first-hand interactions with Indigenous peoples, workshops on repairing local ecosystems and tours that support local businesses; all of which ensure travellers return home with a new perspective.

“With these new experiences, agents can demonstrate to their clients the ways in which TTC Tour Brands is constantly updating itineraries to meet guests’ needs and interests.”

Insight Vacations also has new Make Travel Matter Experiences on its Wonders of the American West tour.

They offer the chance to explore Monument Valley (pictured) with a Navajo guide and visit Desert Viewpoint Intertribal Cultural Heritage Site at Grand Canyon.

On Insight Vacations’ Spectacular Rockies and Glaciers of Alberta itinerary, travellers can now stay at the Glacier View Lodge, Canada’s first and only glacier-view resort.

Meanwhile, the Hawaii with Oahu & Maui tour has a new Make Travel Matter Experience in the Hawaiian Legacy Forest in Oahu.

Other TTC Tour Brands experiences have been added by Trafalgar, Luxury Gold and Costsaver.

They include a foodie experience in Oakland, California; the ‘Buffalo Fat of the Land Storytelling Experience’ in Canada; dining at Salmon N’ Bannock, the only Indigenous-owned and operated restaurant in Vancouver; and visiting Farmstead Cider in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
