Utopia of the Seas will combine ‘best of the best’, says Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean will offer three and four-night Caribbean sailings on new ship Utopia of the Seas.

The line said its newest vessel, which is scheduled to enter service in spring next year, will embark on the “ultimate itineraries” to offer passengers the “perfect addition” to a US holiday.

From July 2024, the sixth ship in the Oasis-class will offer sailings from Port Canaveral in Florida to the Bahamas, calling at the line’s private beach club Perfect Day at CocoCay, which will see the addition of new adults-only Hideaway Beach from early next year.

Utopia of the Seas will feature more than 20 dining options as well as 20 bars and entertainment spots, including the new Caribbean-themed bar Pesky Parrot.

The ship, which will be the first in Royal Caribbean’s fleet to be powered by liquified natural gas (LNG), will also boast five pools, two casinos and an ice skating show.

Sailings will go on general release on June 23, while members of the line’s Crown & Anchor loyalty programme can book from June 22.

Michael Bayley, Royal Caribbean International president and chief executive, said: “Vacationers are looking to make every moment count by celebrating and recharging with their friends and family, and Utopia of the Seas makes all that possible in more ways than one.

“With the variety of dining, bars, pools, entertainment and thrills that make Oasis-class ships revolutionary, and the experiences to match on our private island Perfect Day at CocoCay, we’ve combined the best of the best to create the world’s biggest weekend for everyone.”
