Influencer and travel social media specialist Trending Travel is teaming up with deals publisher Holiday Pirates.
The new strategic partnership has been agreed to create a platform for tourist boards, tour operators and agents to distribute direct to consumers.
The collaboration, aligning both brands’ sales teams, will see travel deals, content and partnership campaigns cross-promoted across each brand’s social media platforms, opt-in WhatsApp groups and newsletters with a claimed combined reach of more than 1.1 billion.
Trending Travel, which uses content creators to inspire and inform prospective holidaymakers about the best places to visit, before directing them to an industry partner to book, has more than one million followers across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok since being founded in 2019.
It works with 2,500 Influencers as part of its ‘Trendsetters Club’. This offers any creator or influencer with more than 10,000 following a travel booking and earning platform.
Trending Travel’s influencer marketing campaigns have included brands ranging from Sandals and Virgin Voyages to Barrhead and Hays Travel.
