New entertainment options revealed for MSC World Europa

A multi-functional venue, five new theatre productions and themed experiences will be part of the entertainment offering on board new ship MSC World Europa.

Strictly Come Dancingchampion Flavia Cacace-Mistry will oversee three bespoke classes via a digital dance academy in the multi-purpose 300-seat Luna Park Area.

During the day, the venue will host a variety of activities for all ages including a new virtual reality drone academy and a ‘Wake Up Rave’ for the youngest passengers and two new large scale interactive gameshows.

Passengers will also have the opportunity to participate in a series of challenges aimed at breaking Guinness World Record titles through daytime events and an evening large scale show in the arena.

Three interactive concerts bringing together technology and visuals will feature at night including Symphonic Ibiza, a K Pop party show and and film-themed stunt show.

The ship’s World Theatre will stage new shows focused on exploration, travel, the sea, theatre and sustainability.

The aft-based Panorama Lounge will run music-themed experiences.

Artists, actors, musicians and inflatables will contribute to street theatre around the ship.

The ship, which is to be named in Qatar on November 13 before entering service in the Gulf region in December, features a dry slide spanning 11 decks and the fleet’s largest waterpark.

Global head of entertainment Steve Leatham said: The brand-new interactive entertainment featured on board MSC World Europa will be unlike anything that our guests have ever experienced, combining futuristic technology and unique specially designed venues.

“From surprise moments that will take place during the entirety of the cruise to spectacular shows and state-of the-art venues, our guests will be blown away by the abundance of fantastic entertainment options on board as they find themselves at the heart of productions and immerse themselves in incredible performances and activities.”
