Tui expands range of UK domestic experiences

Tui UK is expanding its UK domestic experiences programme after cancelling a range of foreign holidays up until July 11.

The operator has made “hundreds” of UK excursions, activities and attraction tickets available online to UK customers year-round.

Tui sees tours and activities for strategic growth, with continued investment enabling online distribution of an expanding range of experiences around the world.

The curated portfolio of UK experiences is managed by one of the largest specialist tours & activities sourcing teams in the industry, with experiences available in both city centres and rural and countryside areas.

Three currently trending UK experiences are London-based, at Warner Bros’ Harry Potter Studios, Westminster Abbey and The London Eye.

Outside the capital, trending experiences include Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile walking tour, Belfast’s Titanic museum, Stonehenge, and Chessington World of Adventures.

Tui UK chief marketing officer Katie McAlister said: “We’re thrilled to grow our domestic experiences programme further, with the addition of hundreds of UK excursions, activities and tickets serving the ever-increasing demand for new experiences, both during travel and while at home.

“Through our website, customers can easily search and instantly book some of the UK’s most popular and sought-after experiences, whether it be for a staycation, day trip, or perhaps a local activity to extend that holiday feeling after returning home from abroad.”
