Ambassador Cruise Line has unveiled 21 itineraries for the 2025/26 season with a focus on marine conservation.
The no-fly itineraries will visit key points of call that have “significant value” for marine conservation charity Orca, which has renewed its partnership with the line for a fourth year.
Highlights from the dedicated Orca sailings include the Iberian Multigenerational Adventure, Gems of Spain and Portugal, Classical Mediterranean and Land of the Northern Lights.
In the latest season, Orca recorded 8,062 sea life sightings on Ambassador sailings and two ocean conservationists will join guests on board 11 voyages on Ambience, and 10 on Ambition in 2025 and 2026.
Christian Verhounig, Ambassador Cruise Line chief executive, said: “Working alongside Orca has been incredibly rewarding, as it has allowed us to not only support vital research but also to raise awareness among our guests and crew about the importance of protecting marine life.
“I look forward to seeing our collaboration grow as we embark on a fourth year in our joint mission to preserve our oceans.”
Steve Jones, Orca director of funding and operations, said the partnership had allowed the charity to extend its reach to more critical habitats and engage with “more guests than we ever could have imagined”.
He added: “Operating aboard Ambience and Ambition provides our Ocean Conservationists with invaluable opportunities to gather crucial data on vulnerable ecosystems worldwide, all the while educating guests on how they can contribute to the protection of whales and dolphins.”
