Flight Centre has reopened a branch in Bath as part of a bounce back from the pandemic.
The revamped agency, which shut in January 2020, is being managed by Monique Thomas, who has worked for the company for 18 years.
She is working alongside four full-time members of staff, having previously managed three stores in the south west of England.
The next store to open will be Horsham in West Sussex.
Flight Centre UK head of marketing James Boyle said: “We are delighted for the reopening of our store in Bath, as it is an important location to serve our customers in the south west.
“This is a significant moment for Flight Centre as we continue our journey to reopen a series of stores across the UK. This store in Bath is the first of three that we will reopen this year.
“This store was the last one to be refurbished before the pandemic and offers a fantastic space to welcome customers.
“Just like Monique and her staff here, Flight Centre’s people are its number one asset. I would like to wish Monique and her team the very best for the future.”
Bath city mayor Rob Appleyard cut the red ribbon to mark the store reopening.
