NCL unveils tier system for trade rewards platform

Norwegian Cruise Line has unveiled a new tier system on its Freestyle Rewards platform to mark the first anniversary since its launch.

NCL says the new Freestyle Rewards’ tiers – silver, gold, platinum, sapphire and ambassador – allow agents to “gain greater benefits”, based on the number of points earned over a 12-month period.

Points are awarded once cabins are booked by agents, who in turn can spend them on gifts and redeem them against vouchers from the NCL Freestyle Rewards catalogue. As agents climb the tiers, their points can also be used against ‘enhanced benefits’ including priority invitations to NCL events and celebrations.

Agents can see how they are progressing when they log into their accounts.

Bookings claimed by agents before March 31 will be counted as entries into a prize draw to win one of 50 staterooms for two on Norwegian Prima’s inaugural sailing on August 12, 2022.

Gary Anslow, the line’s senior director of sales, UK and Ireland, said: “NCL Freestyle Rewards has been a great success. In just one year we have signed up over 4,000 agents, and we’re excited to see it continue to grow.

“We continue to support our valued travel agent partners and reward them for their commitment and loyalty to NCL.

“The new tier system provides even more opportunities for agents to benefit, particularly as demand returns and as we launch the new Prima Class and Norwegian Prima (pictured) this summer.”
