Travel Counsellors has hosted 35 of its top-performing agents in Iceland for its first Gold trip of 2026.
The agents – including one who has recently achieved Gold status – explored the destination along with four support team colleagues.
The group began in Reykjavik with a visit to the Blue Lagoon, followed by a welcome party and a Northern Lights cruise.
They spent the first night at the CenterHotel Grandi before heading out for a range of activities, including snowmobiling across the Langjökull glacier, exploring the Golden Circle, and venturing into the Katla Ice Cave.
They spent the final two nights in Hotel Ranga, as a base for exploring Iceland’s southern landscapes.
The Gold trip concluded with a gala dinner which featured live entertainment and a firework display.
Katharine Prior, a Travel Counsellors agent based in Dublin, was attending her first Gold trip.
She said: “Being part of my first Gold trip has been a real privilege. Sharing experiences with fellow business owners, taking in Iceland’s incredible landscapes, and celebrating what we’ve all achieved made the whole trip feel truly special.
“Reaching Gold is a milestone that means a great deal to me, and I’m so grateful for the support of my customers and the wider TC community. I’m heading home inspired and excited to recommend Iceland with genuine first‑hand insight.”
Travel Counsellors’ Gold programme recognises the contribution of its highest-performing business owners and ‘Gold’ status is currently held by more than 260 business owners globally.
The trip was supported and sponsored by Obeo Travel, ACC Aviation, Domes Resorts & Reserves, Riviera Travel and Virgin Voyages.
