Trade-only operator USAirtours has recruited Luke Harvey to the newly-created role of head of marketing ahead of a new brand launch.
Harvey previously held the same role at Unforgettable Travel, where he was responsible for launching multiple brands over a four-year period, following three years in a senior marketing position at Saga.
He joins the senior leadership team at the US, Canada and Caribbean tailor-made specialist operator, reporting to founder Guy Novik.
Harvey said: “The opportunity to work with a well-established brand like USAirtours and help lead it into the new age of AI driven marketing was very appealing.
“We will continue as a trade-only operator and I look forward to collaborating with our agency partners to provide them with a range of digital marketing initiatives that drive customers to their websites.
“This will begin with a new brand launch in mid-September, followed by a number of marketing activities right through to Christmas, ready for the peak booking period."
Novik said: “I am delighted to welcome someone of Luke’s calibre having been impressed by the quality of the marketing work at his previous company.
"As part of our senior leadership team he will be responsible for our strategic marketing direction.”
