A role at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays promises a fulfilling career, endless opportunities for growth and the chance to create memories
As the UK’s number-one tour operator and third-largest airline, Jet2 has built a reputation for industry‑leading service and unforgettable flights and holidays. Every single colleague takes enormous pride in that.
The company invests heavily in training, development and wellbeing, creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported. Last year, more than 5,200 new starters joined Jet2 and 84% of colleagues said they were proud to work for the business. Above all, it’s a place where you can develop your skills and share success with a team that loves creating their own memories just as much as they do for customers.
Part of what makes Jet2 a dynamic place to work is the breadth of roles on offer. There are frontline positions such as cabin crew and customer helpers, along with jobs in engineering, logistics, ground operations or on the flight deck. And in the Jet2 head office, you’ll find the finance, marketing, IT and digital teams working their magic behind the scenes – so no matter your skillset, there’s a position for you at Jet2.
And if you’re just starting out, Jet2 runs an apprenticeship scheme that has grown by 30% over the past year and now supports nearly 200 apprentices across multiple departments. These apprenticeships provide hands-on experience, structured learning and long-term career progression. Jet2 has plans for a further 160 apprenticeships in the coming year, offering the perfect way to begin your career in travel.
You’ll gain more than just a job at Jet2: you’ll also get a supportive team, a rewarding career and endless opportunities for growth. Working at Jet2 isn’t all about your day-to-day role either, you’ll also discover an inclusive workplace culture where everyone has the chance to shine. You’ll be part of a company that promotes wellbeing, diversity and equality, whether you join the lively Pride celebrations each year or drive change via the Women in Tech network. Every employee also benefits from recognition and reward schemes and has the chance to give back through annual charity initiatives to raise money for important causes.
“I’m incredibly proud that Jet2 and our apprentices won multiple awards in 2024, recognising all their hard work and dedication. We were an official supporter of National Apprenticeship Week for the third year running. Our apprentices were also inspiring in the community, leading a Macmillan Coffee Morning and taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge.”
Katie Rankin, emerging talent & careers manager
“We are really keen to attract, develop, empower and inspire women to reach their potential at Jet2. I am an active member of the Jet2 Women in Tech initiative and I lead the communications workstream where we have been showcasing all our hard work by creating, editing and distributing an internal quarterly Jet2 Women in Tech newsletter. In addition, I have participated in videos on the Jet2 LinkedIn page to highlight the great work Jet2 Women in Tech are doing.”
