Wizz Air has become the third airline to offer twilight check-in at Luton Airport.
The option, available from today (Monday) to coincide with February school half-term, enables passengers to check-in and drop off luggage the night before they fly.
EasyJet and Jet2 introduced the option at the airport last year.
The new Wizz Air service will be available seven days a week between 9pm and 2am for passengers departing on flights up to 9am the following morning.
The airport is gearing up for a busy half term as it prepares to handle 325,000 passengers over the week.
Berlin, Budapest, Lisbon, Prague and Seville are among the top half term city break destinations, while Jet2 started serving the si gateway of Geneva on Saturday (February 14).
The winter sun destinations most in demand include Palma, Murcia, Malaga, Antalya, Dalaman, Lanzarote and Madeira.
Wizz Air is expanding its Luton network with five new routes to Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Valencia and Seville from March 29.
Jet2 is adding routes to Corfu, Kos, Preveza, Skiathos and Menorca from May 21.
Airport head of guest experience Clare Armstrong said: “February half-term provides the perfect opportunity to take a well-earned break and to escape the notorious British weather that we typically see this time of year.
“The launch of another twilight check-in service will mean even more passengers can get their travels off to the swiftest and simplest start and comes off the back of another hugely exciting 12 months for the airport, with continued investment in passenger facilities, the arrival of new shops and restaurants, and record annual customer satisfaction scores achieved.
“We are all set for another busy and exciting week, and we’re thrilled to see so many passengers choosing LLA as the starting point for their travels.”
