Two new Greek destinations are being added by Jet2 and Jet2holidays for next summer as the company further plugs gaps left by the collapse of Thomas Cook.
The island of Lesvos and Kalamata, gateway to the Peloponnese region, will be served from Manchester and Stansted airports.
The latest additions mean that Jet2 will serve 12 destinations in Greece for summer 2020 following the addition of Skiathos and Preveza.

Tui adds more routes and frequencies for summer 2020
The programme to Lesvos, the country’s third largest island, includes the resorts of Anaxos, Molivos, Petra and Skala Kallonis with flights running twice a week from Manchester and weekly from Stansted.
Kalamata offers resorts including Stoupa, Agios Nikolaos, Skafidia, Kalamata and Kyllini with the same frequency from both UK airports.
Lesvos will be served from May 2 until October 10 and Kalamata between May 3 and November 1.
Fares from both UK airports start at £85 to Kalamata and £90 to Mytilene in Lesvos.
CEO Steve Heapy said: “The addition of flights and holidays to Lesvos and Peloponnese is yet more fantastic news for holidaymakers and independent travel agents.
“There has been enormous demand for these two spectacular destinations from Manchester and London Stansted Airports, and we are sure that our award-winning flights and holidays will be hugely popular with holidaymakers in both destinations.
“Our summer ’20 programme continues to grow, and with 12 Greek destinations now on sale, we are offering holidaymakers more choice and flexibility than ever before.”
