Packages to 11 new destinations from Newcastle for summer 2026 have been released by easyJet holidays.
Malta, Rhodes, Corfu, Faro, Reus, Tunisia, Sharm el Sheik, Dalaman and Antalya are being offered alongside the cities of Prague and Nice until October 2026.
The operator’s trade distribution team is extending its ‘Big Orange Store Makeover’ campaign to travel agencies in and around the Newcastle area to coincide with the holidays going on sale.
Thirty outlets across the UK have begun their transformations so far, receiving exclusive easyJet holidays merchandise, bespoke window wraps, marketing displays and in-store furnishings.
Travel agencies hoping to win the next makeover simply need to share three big reasons why they deserve it, with a decline for entries of 11.59pm on July 1.
More than 70 agents are due to attend an event in Newcastle tonight (Tuesday) to get a first look at easyJet holidays’ latest collection hotels in new beach and city destinations.
The expansion follows confirmation that easyJet will establish a new base at Newcastle airport, where it already operates eight routes, following recent regional base launches in Southend and Birmingham airports. Flights across the new routes from Newcastle will be on sale on easyJet.com in the coming months.
Natasha Marson, head of trade distribution at easyJet holidays, said: “We’re thrilled to offer thousands of new package holidays to our valued trade customers in the northeast, now available for our trusted travel agent partners to book.
“We truly appreciate the vital role our travel agents play in helping customers find their perfect getaway, especially as holidays remain a top priority for consumers, so we’re super excited to now be offering a wide selection of fantastic beach and city break destinations and travel dates extending through to October 2026.
“We’re committed to supporting our travel agent partners through various trade initiatives and look forward to strengthening these relationships and enhancing our collaborative success for the future. We can’t wait to see where our trade customers choose to travel to from Newcastle next summer.”
