Following the acquisition of the specialist brands by Travcorp Holdings Ltd in July 2025, she joined the group board and was appointed group chief marketing officer.
Over the past year, Johnson has led the group’s marketing function through a period of transition, including the recent corporate rebranding from Travcorp Holdings Ltd to Specialist Holidays Group.

“Erin has made a valued contribution to our business over the last 12 months since joining the group board as chief marketing officer,” he said.
“She has played an important role in the development of our marketing function, brands and customer proposition, and has been a key member of our leadership team through a period of transformation for the business.
“We thank her for her commitment and contribution and wish her every success in the future.”
Specialist Holidays Group has appointed executive search firm BCD Search to lead the recruitment of Johnson’s successor.
Freeth added: “Whilst we are sorry to see Erin leave, this is an exciting time for Specialist Holidays Group. We are working with executive search specialist BCD Search to recruit our next group chief marketing officer and identify the right individual to help lead the next phase of our growth.
“We have strong brands, ambitious plans and a talented team, and we look forward to building on the foundations Erin has helped create as we continue to develop the business.”
Johnson will remain with the business until the end of September to oversee the transition.
