G Adventures has launched an incentive linked to its new Online Travel Training (OTT) course offering agents the chance to attend Travel Weekly’s Agent Achievement Awards and 2026 GX Cambodia summit.
The newly launched course has six modules ranging from the history of the brand to the variety of its different travel styles and destinations, such as its co-branded collection with National Geographic and polar expeditions in Antarctica and the Arctic.
Agents have until June 14 to complete the modules to be automatically entered into the draw to join the Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards on July 9 and GX Cambodia summit on September 23.
Speaking on a webcast with editor-in-chief Lucy Huxley, G Adventures UK director of growth Nick Hughes said the operator was “super excited” to be able to boost awareness among agents of the range of itineraries and the “foundation” of the brand.
“We have over a thousand different itineraries across all seven continents, so [the challenge was] how do we get people to understand the length and breadth of what we do and also the good that we can do [through community tourism],” he said. “We feel that OTT is the perfect place for that.”
Hughes stressed the training would “not take hours and hours to do” and would give agents “another opportunity” to join the G Adventures team at the Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards and the GX Cambodia summit, following its recent Mission Possible Agents of Change competition.
There will be a total of four agents joining G Adventures at the awards ceremony, but only one selected from that group to attend GX Cambodia.
National sales manager Stu Darnley said the idea behind GX was to make it like a fam trip “times ten”. It will take place over six days with all meals, transportation and international flights covered.
“This is really about agents getting a unique experience on how travel can be a force for good,” he said.
