MagicBreaks takes majority stake in Loads of Tickets Limited

MagicBreaks has taken a majority stake in Loads of Tickets Limited.

Loads of Tickets is an online ticket broker offering access to sporting events and concerts including VIP and hospitality experiences.

Its founder, Kieran Tobin, will continue to run and operate the business.

Tobin said: “I am looking forward to leveraging all the skills and resources of the wider MagicBreaks Group to grow the Loads of Tickets brand and product offering.”

MagicBreaks, which was established more than 20 years ago, specialises in theme park holidays such as Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World, but also offers other product.

Chief executive Tom Dunkley said: “We are excited to complete this acquisition, as we have been working with Kieran and his co-founder to make this happen since the summer.

“We have been interested in the ticket market for quite some time. We can help the business grow significantly through our extensive knowledge and expertise in the digital B2C space as well as offering these uniquely curated experiences to our MagicBreaks customer base.”

MagicBreaks plans to offer its customers the opportunity to redeem their ‘MagicStars’ – the company’s loyalty and reward programme – against ticket experiences.
