Star Clippers is introducing 24 new ports of call across the Mediterranean for summer 2027
The tall-ship cruise line’s highest number of new additions in its history covers Greece, Spain, Turkey, Croatia, France and Albania.
New ports of call include Astypalea, Pighadia, Gavrio, Chania, Skyros and Parga in Greece; Çeşme, Datça, Kaa, Kekova and Fethiye in Turkey; Roses, Barcelona and Peniscola in Spain; Menton in France; Trogir and Korcula in Croatia; and Sarandein Albania.
Some destinations are making a return after a multi-year hiatus, such as Symi and Kastellorizzo in Greece, reflecting new customers’ desire for smaller, more unique ports of call.
The summer 2027 sailing programme runs from April to November, with Royal Clipper, Star Clipper and Star Flyer also returning to some of the line’s most popular destinations, such as ports along the Amalfi Coast as well as Skopelos and Poros from Athens.
New seven-night itineraries include ‘Authentic Adriatic’ on board Royal Clipper departing from Venice on June 12, July 4 and August 7 leading in at £2,179 and ‘Eternal Cyclades’ by Star Flyer from Athens on June 26, August 28 and September starting at £1,957.
The new destinations feature in a summer 2027 preview brochure.
Company owner Eric Krafft said: “With the wind as our driving force, we can reach destinations that large cruise ships simply cannot access.
“Twenty-four of the new ports in 2027 are completely new to us, demonstrating the remarkable possibilities our fleet offers.”
