Travelpack is to incorporate trips organised by small group adventure firm WeRoad into its offering to the trade.
The new collaboration will provide Travelpack agent partners with access to more than 140 WeRoad itineraries, targeted at mainly solo travellers aged between 20 and 40.
As WeRoad’s itineraries do not include international flights, Travelpack will use its flight consolidation expertise to package its ground product with global airfares and pre- or post-tour accommodation.
This creates a fully Atol-protected, flexible and “heavily commissionable” packages for agents.
Itineraries include cultural tours, safaris, trekking expeditions and long-weekend escapes to destinations such as Iceland and the Amalfi Coast.
The move comes as Travelpack moves to empower trade partners to tap into the booming millennial, Gen Z and solo travel markets.
The new WeRoad packages are available to book through Travelpack, supported by dedicated training and marketing materials for agents.
The partnership is being backed with a £150 trade discount on WeRoad bookings made over the bank holiday weekend until the end of the day on May 4 without impacting agency commission.
Travelpack director Vishal Patel said: “This partnership is a fantastic natural progression in our strategy to diversify our product portfolio.
“We know our agent partners are seeing huge demand from young professionals and solo travellers who want authentic, off-the-beaten-path adventures, but who also want the safety and social aspect of a group.
“WeRoad’s community-driven ethos is exceptional. By wrapping our flight and packaging expertise around their incredible itineraries, we are giving agents the ultimate tool to capture this highly lucrative, younger demographic with total confidence.”
Clarissa Cappelletti, WeRoad regional manager, international, added: “We’re thrilled to partner with Travelpack to bring the WeRoad experience to even more travellers across the UK.
“We believe travel has the power to create real human connection, and this partnership allows us to make our community-driven adventures more accessible to a new generation of curious, social, and experience-led travellers.
“Travelpack’s strong trade relationships and packaging expertise make them an ideal partner as we continue to grow our presence and inspire more people to explore the world together.”
