Viva Cruises brings in sector specialist to drive growth in Ireland

Viva Cruises is bringing in a sector specialist to to expand the European river cruise specialist’s presence in Ireland.

Stephen Sands, who is joining as a consultant, brings more than a decade of experience at Riviera Travel, where he played a pivotal role in developing the brand in the Irish market.

He will support  Michelle Daniels, country manager UK & Ireland, Australia & New Zealand. 

His role will be to reinforce the company’s ongoing commitment to the Irish market and trade partners across the UK and Ireland.

Sands’s extensive knowledge of the market and strong relationships within the travel trade will be “instrumental” in expanding Viva Cruises’ presence in the region, according to the company.

Daniels, who joined in April, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Stephen to the Viva Cruises team. 

“I am delighted that he is working with us to help establish Viva Cruises in the Irish market’.
