Tech provider Widgety will be demonstrating an upgraded version of its cruise-and-tour search widget to agents at the annual conference of the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas).
Damian Gevertz, Widgety director, will be at the event in Newport, south Wales, this week to showcase the tool to the trade.
“The widget is an easy-to-use tool which allows all agents, including those unfamiliar or new to selling cruises, to quickly find and share cruise and tour options with their customers. Agents can instantly find the answer to any customer queries, increasing efficiency,” he said.

Agencies can customise which cruise and tour operators can appear in their search results, to ensure their offerings align with specific business goals.
“As agents are better equipped to find the perfect cruise for their customers, we anticipate this to lead to increased customer satisfaction and repeat bookings, increasing market share. This, in turn, will help the business grow and thrive,” he added.
He said the touring and adventure sector is “extremely important” for Widgety as the demand for these trips grows.
“Many customers who book a cruise will look to incorporate tours or other adventures at each port to make the most of their holiday,” he said.
