A new InterContinental Hotels Group hotel has opened adjacent to London’s heliport on the River Thames.
The rebranded 78-room Crowne Plaza London – Battersea is owned by Fabiano Hotels and managed by IHG.
It was previously known as Hotel Verta and was part of the Von Essen chain which collapsed in 2011.
The hotel is located close to Clapham Junction station with connections to central London and Gatwick.
Facilities include the Verta Spa, gym, 200m2 of meeting space, free Wi-Fi, a bar and restaurant.
Fabiano Hotels director Harry Mohinani said: “We’re thrilled to open up our first property with one of the most reputable hotel companies in the business. Crowne Plaza London – Battersea is the perfect location for guests travelling to London on business or leisure.”
