Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group (AKTG) is planning to launch a second newbuild Nile riverboat in 2028.
As yet unnamed, the vessel will be a sister ship to Nile Seray, an A&K Sanctuary (pictured), which will launch in late 2026.
The new vessel will feature 32 suites accommodating 64 guests, two restaurants, an outdoor bar, a spa with two treatment rooms, a gym and an outdoor swimming pool.
Two of the suites will have full private balconies with outdoor spa pools.
Guests will also be able to go on excursions led by expert Egyptologists.
Cristina Levis, AKTG’s chief executive, said: “This second vessel represents our absolute confidence in Egypt’s enduring appeal and our commitment to setting new standards in Nile cruising.
“Having two sister ships of this calibre allows us to offer even more travellers the exceptional experiences that have defined A&K’s presence in Egypt since 1977.”
This expansion means A&K’s Egyptian fleet will grow to six, joining the Zein Nile Chateau dahabiya, and Sun Boat III and Sun Boat IV riverboats.
