‘Inflation busting’ pay deal secured for Loganair cabin crew

An “inflation busting” pay deal has been secured for more than 120 Loganair cabin crew.

The 18-month agreement negotiated by the Unite union with the regional airline amounts to an average basic pay increase of 23%, which then rises to 26.7% when other pay benefits and allowances are included.

The highest pay rise will be for cabin crew trainers who are set for an increase of around £8,300 or 29.3% on basic hourly rates. The deal runs from September 2024 to April 2026.

The pay hike covers staff working on flights from airports across the UK and Ireland including London City and Heathrow, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Cardiff, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Isle of Man, Liverpool, Manchester and Shetland.

The union’s industrial officer Pat McIlvogue said: “Unite has successfully negotiated another pay deal which will make a real difference to the lives of our cabin crew members at Loganair.

“We believe this deal will set a benchmark for the rest of the aviation industry.”
