Ever fancied getting married in Las Vegas?
Travel Weekly and Attraction World are offering one couple a wedding in Las Vegas this year.
Just tell us why you want to tie the knot in the US city – and if you reach the final, prepare to have your reasons filmed and screened online so Travel Weekly readers can vote on a winner.
“It’s a bit like a spiritual wedding,” said Attraction World sales and marketing director Tony Seaman, who tied the knot in Vegas ten years ago.
“There’s all types of weddings, from drive-throughs to getting married in a hot air balloon or having Elvis at your big day.”
There are lots of reasons why couples choose a Las Vegas wedding. Often it’s linked to the cost of UK ceremonies or because couples are getting married for a second time, he said.
“It only suits certain types of people at certain times but where it works is if you want something more personal with just a few close friends rather than a whole bunch of people attending.
“Las Vegas is just such a lively place with stage shows that are not shown anywhere else and great restaurants. It’s frantic but really exciting.”
As part of a standard wedding package couples enjoy a limousine transfer from their hotel to the licence office before proceeding to the chapel for the official wedding ceremony.
Las Vegas Wedding competition, Travel Weekly, Quadrant House, The Quadrant, Sutton, Surrey, SM2 5AS, by Friday May 4.
The entry form will also be printed in the 20 April issue of Travel Weekly.
