Cruise Nation has reported growth in demand for its package holidays range, which has now surpassed cruise-only sales.
In 2024, cruise-only and package holidays each took a 50% share of the business, which became a 30%-70% split in 2025.
The online cruise specialist’s ’Smart Packages’ range combines flights, a complimentary pre or post-cruise hotel stay and cruise in more than 200 destinations worldwide.
Last year, the company launched a dedicated cruise and tour product called Toureka, which combines a multi-day guided land tour and cruise itinerary that has seen “strong early success”.
The Toureka range is currently only bookable via the agency’s call centre, but the company is now looking to pilot an online booking system.
Cruise Nation managing director Phil Evans has observed “demand continuing to grow” for this combined product among both experienced and new-to-cruise customers
He said: “As demand has grown, we’ve added longer land stays in destinations like Greece, Malta, Spain and Orlando to help new to cruise customers try cruising without giving up their land holiday altogether.
“Travellers are looking to go beyond the traditional fly and flop holiday and Toureka is all about evolving to offer unique travel experiences that tick off bucket list experiences.”
He also credited “bringing AI fully in-house” to help create port guides, itineraries and summaries with helping the team focus on customer service.
