MSC Cruises expands Yacht Club concept on new flagship

The largest luxury MSC Cruises ‘ship within a ship’ concept is to feature on new vessel MSC World America.

The MSC Yacht Club will be one of seven new ‘districts’ on board the flagship which is due to enter service tailored to US passengers in April 2025.

The 22-deck ship, capable of carrying more than 5,000 passengers in 2,614 cabins, will include two multi-room owner’s suites (pictured), twin-level duplex suites with private whirlpools and a sundeck also spanning two decks as part of the expanded Yacht Club on board.

The area will accommodate 152 suites in total, enhancing a concept offering 24-hour concierge and butler service first introduced on selected ships in the fleet in 2008.

Other elements to be introduced on MSC World America include a sports bar and comedy club as well as six speciality restaurants, including  two new concepts which have yet to be unveiled.

The line’s latest World Class vessel will sail from Miami to the line’s Ocean Cay private island in The Bahamas.

MSC Yacht Club brand performance director Cristian Comirla said: “MSC World America will take our MSC Yacht Club product to new heights as the largest MSC Yacht Club in the North American market.

“With exclusive amenities, top-notch service and luxurious benefits, MSC Yacht Club offers a tranquil holiday for guests who prefer to have a more relaxing and secluded cruise experience, yet still have access to the excitement of the ship’s entertainment, specialty dining and other amenities.

“MSC Yacht Club guests on MSC World America will also have access to Ocean House at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, providing an elevated experience at our private island in The Bahamas with a private beach and restaurant coupled with personalised service.”
