Anthem of the Seas has returned to Southampton for the first time in six years ahead of its UK summer season.
The Royal Caribbean International ship will operate a mix of four to eight-night sailings from July 7, with calls including Liverpool, Kirkwall and Belfast.
The Quantum-class ship, which launched in Southampton in 2015, is the first Royal Caribbean vessel to return to sailing with passengers on board in Europe since global cruise operations stopped last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Features on Anthem include the world’s tallest observation capsule at sea, the North Star; RipCord by iFly, a sky diving experience at sea; and surf simulator FlowRider.
Ben Bouldin, Royal Caribbean International vice president, Europe Middle East and Africa, said: “Anthem of the Seas has always been a firm favourite for UK guests, and we have seen incredible demand for our sailings since announcing our return in March.
“We can’t wait to welcome families back on board one of the most revolutionary ships in our fleet for a summer of adventure.”
Anthem of the Seas’ itineraries are available to UK residents above the age of 18 who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and passengers under 18 with negative test results.
