Delta Air Lines is extending an Edinburgh-New York service to year-round
Three flights a week have been added to the schedule to JFK in January and February so flights will run throughout the year.
Delta also runs summer seasonal routes from Edinburgh to Atlanta and Boston, reinforcing the airport as its home in Scotland
Edinburgh airport chief commercial officer Stephanie Wear said: “Extending this service to year-round is fantastic news for passengers, ensuring continued connectivity to New York and onward to North America through Delta’s hub network.
“Edinburgh Airport already offers a fantastic range of services to the United States, and we are delighted that Delta shares our confidence in the strength of our market and in our role as a key driver of economic growth.
“We look forward to working with our colleagues at Delta to making this extension a success and to exploring opportunities for further improvements in the future.”
