Disney Destinations International this week hosted a group of 10 travel agents and their families on a six-day fam trip to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to experience its latest dining offer.
Agents won the chance to take part in the Lilo and Stitch-themed trip alongside their ohana (family), which was a “first” for the brand.
The trip focused on the Free Disney Dining and Drinks promotion, which launched on April 29 and runs until November 5. It offers visitors a range of dining options from the more than 170 dining outlets across Walt Disney World Resort when booking certain hotel and ticket packages for 2026.
Torey Kings-Hodkin, trade sales and marketing director EMEA at Disney Destinations International, said: “We were absolutely thrilled to welcome our winning travel agent partners to Walt Disney World for our Ohana Free Dine fam trip.
“This one is particularly special as for the first time ever, our winners have been able to bring friends or family with them, meaning they get to share this experience making it even more magical and memorable.”
The six-day fam trip saw the agents stay at Disney properties including Animal Kingdom Lodge and Polynesian Village Resort, and to tie in with the ohana theme, they experienced a character dining breakfast with Lilo & Stitch on their first morning.
It also included visits to Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom plus a stop at Hollywood Studios for the Fantasmic Show and a day spent at water park Typhoon Lagoon.

Tui agent Caitlin Hall, who works in Metrocentre, joined the trip with husband Jake Anthony Crookes, four-year-old daughter Missy Grace and two-year-old Frankie Jake.
She said: “Visiting Walt Disney World with young kids has been pure magic. Watching my daughter meet Elsa and Anna, my son meeting Woody and even my husband who was never a huge Disney fan [be] completely converted.
“Every time Disney launches the Free Dining & Drinks offer, I get the same question: is it actually worth it? After this trip, I’ve got to say without question that for us, it absolutely is. If your family loves sit-down meals or character dining, it’s an obvious win. But even if you’re more of a quick-service crew, I still think it’s worth it – kids love to snack.”

Lauren Pond, sales development manager for Ocean Holidays, was joined by husband Michael Bishop and children Isabella and Alfie, aged nine and seven.
She said: “In the travel industry, fam trips always [mean] being away from my family, but to experience a trip of a lifetime with my family has just been amazing.
“Value for money is the ‘quote’ of this holiday – for families of four or more, the breakfasts, lunches and dinners can soon add up. It’s really handy to know everything is already budgeted for so you don’t have to think – to literally tap, grab and go when you’re out in the parks is just fab.”
Disney’s Free Dining offer is running until November 5 for agents booking a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and ticket package, for arrivals on selected dates in 2026. More information can be found on Disney’s new trade platform PixieDustHQ.
