The 1,010-room Disney Sequoia Lodge at Disneyland Paris is to be revamped next year as part of a €2 billion transformation of the European theme park.
The “major makeover” will be carried out to enhance the property.
“Every space, from the rooms to the lobby, as well as the shopping and dining locations, will be reinvented as an ode to wildlife, offering the perfect environment to unwind and let one’s mind wander,” a spokesperson said.
The hotel will remain open during the work, which will start in 2026 and be carried out in phases.
Meanwhile, the first wave of new-look bungalows at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch will be available to book from June, for stays after the 2025 summer holidays.
A reworking of gateway of Studio 1, as it has been called since the creation of Walt Disney Studios Park in 2002, will see it renamed as World Premiere, described as an “authentic Hollywood boulevard”, from May 15.
Disneyland Paris president Natacha Rafalski said: “As our second gate continues its transformation, we are proud to be unveiling the next milestone with the opening of World Premiere in a few weeks.
“As part of the €2 billion investment plan announced in 2018, we continue to reinvent this park with a fresh creative vision.
“At the end of its expansion journey - which includes the opening of Adventure Way, Adventure Bay, and World of Frozen in 2026, and later an immersive world themed to The Lion King - we’ll have reimagined more than 90% of the park’s offerings since its debut in 2002, and roughly doubled its footprint to truly become a can’t-miss experience.”
