EasyJet has bolstered its network from Liverpool airport with a new route to Naples next summer.
EasyJet holidays has introduced packages to the Italian city from Liverpool, with flights and hotel included.
The budget carrier will serve Naples twice a week on Mondays and Fridays from August 3 with one-way fares starting at £40.99.
The arrival of a ninth Airbus A320neo aircraft enables the airline to expand its network from the Merseyside airport where it now offers 41 routes to 17 countries.
New routes from Liverpool to Lisbon and Paphos were confirmed as part of expansion from eight UK airports unveiled last month.
A Liverpool airport spokesperon said: “Over the past 12 months, easyJet has continued to grow its network at the airport, having launched 10 new routes including Malta, Fuerteventura, Prague, Berlin, Marrakesh, City of Derry, Sharm el Sheikh, Split, Lisbon and Paphos.”
The airline’s UK country manager Kevin Doyle said: "With this latest new route from Liverpool to the vibrant city of Naples now available to book for flights and package holidays for next summer, we’re continuing to provide our customers in the northwest with even more choice and connectivity at fantastic fares, and we look forward to welcoming them onboard.”
