El Al is ramping up its international flights to Europe, the US and Far East as part of a return to a regular schedule following confirmation of the Iran ceasefire.
Israel’s flag carrier will operate full-capacity flights to about 30 airports, with a “wide scope of activity”, from April 12 to April 18.
European destinations include Heathrow, Athens, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris and Berlin.
In the Far East, flights are due to resume to Bangkok, Phuket, and Tokyo, and in North America to New York, Los Angeles and Miami.
An El Al spokesperson said: “After a period of operating on a limited schedule, El Al is resuming broad and significant operations and accelerating its return to a regular flight schedule.
“El Al is implementing the Ministry of Transportation’s operational framework, and starting next week will operate full-capacity flights to approximately 30 gateways, with a wide scope of activity.”
They added: “Throughout the month, the company will continue to gradually expand its operations and, accordingly, the list of gateways served until a full flight schedule is restored across all destinations.”
El Al said changes and adjustments to the flight schedule are “still expected during this period”, subject to the evolving situation.
