Hays Travel agents across England and Scotland have been supporting good causes in their communities with fundraisers such as sponsored walks and rowing challenges.
A four-strong team from Hays Travel Alexandria, in West Dunbartonshire, raised more than £1,000 by taking part in the annual Glasgow Kiltwalk.
They trekked 14.6 miles from Clydebank to Loch Lomond, raising £1,020 for Beatson Cancer Charity, a Glasgow-based organisation.
About 20,000 people took part in this year’s annual Kiltwalk, raising £4.3 million for 1,111 different Scottish charities.
Branch manager Angela Booth said: “We completed the Kiltwalk last year and wanted to do it again but for the Beatson Cancer Charity this time.
“We felt passionate about the cause and know how much good work Beatson do.”

The challenge raised £810 for Wigan and Leigh Hospice, where they provide palliative and end-of-life care.
Travel consultant Yasemin Tasdele, said: “We chose this charity because the hospice is currently supporting one of the team’s relatives.”
Community fundraiser Emily Morris thanked the team, saying: “Rowing the longest length of the English Channel on a rowing machine is an amazing achievement, and we’re so grateful for the energy and commitment.”

• Also in Scotland, John Swinney, Scotland’s First Minister, visited the Hamilton branch to support the team’s sponsored walk to raise money for Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust.
The event will take place on June 7 at Strathclyde Park in Motherwell.
