Iglu Ski has partnered with Paralympian Jeanette Chippington OBE to raise money for the charity Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK).
Chippington has won more than 30 medals since making her paracanoe debut at the 2011 World Championships.
She joined the Iglu Ski team at the annual Superheroes Tri at Dorney Lake, hosted by Clare Balding and sponsored by Marvel.
Chippington competed in the triathlon Iglu Ski’s Louise Newton and Clair Stokes from the ski specialist.
The day raised £2,300 for DSUK, with more than £400 contributed by Iglu Ski.
Earlier in the year, Chippington also learned to ski at the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, assisted by DSUK.
DSUK chief executive Virginia Anderson said: “We’re so grateful to Jeanette and Iglu Ski for competing in the Superheroes Tri in aid of Disability Snowsport UK.
“It’s such an amazing event, and in total we had two teams competing and raising a substantial amount. This means many disabled children and adults can try skiing with us - irrespective of their disability’.
Iglu Ski head of digital product Clair Stokes said: “To partner with Jeanette to enhance our fundraising for DSUK was really good fun.
“To witness a champ like Jeanette take to skiing so easily was moving, and reminded us how important it is to keep fundraising at the time of booking, and through events, to ensure skiing is open to everyone.”
Chippington said: “I loved learning to use a mono-ski at the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead.
“I’ve wanted to join my family on the ski slopes for many years, and now I have the confidence to do it.”
