Jet2 has brought forward the start of the summer 2027 season from Manchester to Nice to align with the dates of a leading property and real estate trade show.
The airline has added services from March 15 in response to demand from the business community looking to attend the MIPIM event (March 15-19) in Cannes, which is 15 miles from Nice.
As well as giving delegates access to the conference, the extra flights between March 15-22 mean that holidaymakers in the Manchester catchment area can also fly direct to the French Riviera earlier.
Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are very pleased to be supporting the region by providing additional flights to Nice for this major conference and bringing forward the start date to this popular destination.
“Thanks to this extra flying, delegates from the region will be able to fly direct from Manchester Airport on our award-winning airline, and we are confident that the new flights will be a huge success.
“As well as supporting local businesses, the additional flights mark the start of our summer 2027 season to Nice, meaning we are giving local holidaymakers the opportunity to experience the magic of Nice and the French Riviera even earlier from Manchester Airport.”
