Not in the Guidebooks has seen a “major” expansion of its South America programme, in response to a “sharp rise” in demand from travellers and agents.
The specialist said the new range of itineraries across Chile and Argentina – and combinations of both – is built around “local hosts, authentic experiences and accommodation chosen for its character”.
Carol Savage, chief executive, said: “South America has been on our radar for a long time, but we wanted to get it right before launching it properly.
“The demand from agents and travellers has been impossible to ignore, and the more we explored it, the more obvious it became that this is exactly the kind of destination we were made for.
“These are places that reward deep local relationships, real characterful stays, and experiences that simply don’t work as a standard itinerary or a chain hotel. Once you’ve been, you understand why, it has to be done our way.”
Highlights include the Desert, Lakes & Patagonia Adventure private tour in Chile which costs from £5,355.
It visits the Atacama Desert, Patagonia and Santiago and includes 12 nights of B&B accommodation and airport transfers.
Argentina Uncovered: Tango, Vineyards & Glaciers with a Ranch Stay in Patagonia takes clients from Buenos Aires to Patagonia, Mendoza and the Iguazú Falls. It costs from £5,875 for 14 nights.
The company said agents can use itineraries as a “conversation starter” and tailor the journey around what their client wants.
To mark the South America launch, a low deposit of £99 per person is available across all 2026 departures until the end of May.
Prices do not include flights.
