The Advantage Travel Partnership is launching a marketing summit for independent travel businesses which will take place on two occasions.
The event is designed to help leisure and corporate travel firms “build more confidence in their marketing activity”, create more effective campaigns and drive growth.
The first summit will take place in London on October 20 and the second in Manchester on October 22.
Each event will include sessions on topics including social media, AI, website performance, campaign development and strategy, in addition to a networking with travel, technology and marketing partners.
Llama Travel Marketing and Travel Marketing Group will co-produce both events and widen their reach beyond Advantage members.
Marketing director David Forder said: “Marketing has never been more important for independent travel businesses.
“Our members are ambitious, entrepreneurial and incredibly close to their customers, but we also know that many are looking for more practical support, fresh ideas and confidence when it comes to building marketing activity that genuinely drives growth.
“The Advantage Travel Partnership Marketing Summit will bring together the strength of our member community with the expertise and creativity of our partner community, supported by the specialist insight and industry reach of Llama Travel Marketing and the Travel Marketing Group.”
Forder added: “We are also proud to be opening this event beyond our membership.
“One of our values is to be bold, and we believe there is a real opportunity to support the wider travel trade by sharing expertise, encouraging collaboration and helping more travel businesses improve the way they market themselves.”
Andrew Shelton, founder of Llama Travel Marketing, said: “We are delighted to be co-producing the Advantage Travel Partnership Marketing Summit with Advantage.
“The event is a natural extension of Advantage’s strong reputation for supporting independent travel businesses and helping them grow.
“Our role will be to bring together expert voices from across the industry to deliver a programme that is practical, inspiring and commercially relevant.
“The focus will be on real-world insight that agents and travel businesses can use to strengthen their marketing, improve customer engagement and support future growth.”
