Ex-Travel Republic and Love Holidays commercial director Chris Roche has unveiled trade-friendly operator The Holiday People.
Founder and chief executive Roche, who introduced online travel agency The Adventure People in 2017, said the new brand would specialise in tailor-made holidays and premium small-group tours.
He added: “We’ve built the brand with the travel trade in mind. Agents need products that are easy to sell but still feel bespoke, and that’s exactly what we offer.”
The brand, part of the World Adventures Group, is an Abta member and an Atol holder.
It aims to ensure agents and customers can easily swap hotels, upgrade or change board basis, add or remove experiences and excursions and tailor trips around lifestyle, pace and budget.
The operator will focus on “high-demand, experience-led destinations”, including Costa Rica, Peru and Thailand, while aiming to introduce additional destinations every week.
“We created The Holiday People to reflect how customers actually want to travel
today – with flexibility, personalisation and a focus on what really makes them happy,” said Roche.
He added: “We’re excited to build strong partnerships across the industry and bring something
genuinely fresh to the market.”
