Jet2holidays launches Bulgaria offer in wake of Balkan closure

Jet2holidays has announced a new discount code, giving customers £100 off per booking on all Bulgaria holidays.

It comes in the wake of the statement on April 24 from Bulgaria specialist tour operator Balkan Holidays Ltd that it has ceased trading in the UK.

Customers booking via independent travel agents can use the code, which aims to make “rebooking easier for those impacted by the closure of Balkan Holidays”, said the operator.

The code BULGARIA100 will save Jet2holidays customers £100 per booking on all summer 2025 and summer 2026 holidays to Bulgaria.

This new discount comes on top of other savings that are currently available, as Jet2holidays is already offering £100 off per person for holidays booked via an agency partner.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2holidays, said: “The closure of Balkan Holidays is very sad news indeed, and our thoughts are with everyone who is impacted.

“We know there are many customers wanting to enjoy their well-deserved holidays to the Bulgarian sunshine, so we are making it easier for them by offering them money off, as well as a simple and easy way to book.”
