“Highlight experiences of the new itineraries include taking a traditional pirogue boat to observe the chimps on Baboon island in River Gambia National Park, tasting the famous ‘grogue’ (a rum-like drink made from sugarcane) in Cape Verde’s Santo Antão, tracking elephants on foot in Ghana, and learning about the daily life and customs of a hill tribe village enroute to the cultural mecca of Chiang Mai.”
The 12-night Ghana Discovery: Culture & Wildlife Tour costs from £4,195. Highlights include tracking elephants on foot and river safaris in the country’s largest national park.
